Motion presets, player mode, transmission level control (TLC), and computer commands boost testing ability. The Index 2 XFLE can also be configured to include an optional electrical simulation feature with probe test. Optical and electrical simulations allow technicians to isolate problems quickly. The probe test identifies defective probes with quantitative test results.

Reflectance type probes are not compatible with Index 2 series simulators.
If the probe can physically fit over the Index 2 Test Finger, the probe can be used during testing.
The make is determined by the type of probe technology being used, not the brand of the monitor. Many oximeter manufacturers outsource their oximeter technology to other monitor manufacturers. The Index 2 optical simulation is based upon the make of the sensor being used.
The "M1191 New" make is selected from Index 2 user interface when the Hewlett Packard rubber-type sensors are being used in an Index 2 optical simulation.
The "PMS M1190" make should be selected from Index2 for this electrical simulation.
